GRDF
As a reference player for gas energy, GRDF is fully committed to developing mobility at Biomethane.
The ecological advantages of this fuel are undeniable and meet today the new political requirements for sustainable mobility as well as the expectations of users, as communities or companies. By using biomethane as a source of energy, it is now possible to embark on the path of a more environmentally friendly mobility, which promotes the circular economy and the energy independence of the territory.
The Pays de la Loire region has made the energy transition, and more broadly ecological, a priority for the year 2023. Developing sustainable mobility and decarbonizing transport is a major commitment of the Region which aims to change the modes of transport in its territory in order to meet the ecological challenge and energy efficiency. This goal is part of the 2021-2030 Regional Mobility Strategy adopted in March 2021.
As a leader in energy transition, the Region supports the development of alternative powertrains and promotes awareness and training in the sector’s new professions. It is also a challenge for its own skills with the desire to decarbonize the fleets of the Aleop transport network.
